FlightSafety International is the world's premier professional aviation training company and supplier of flight simulators, visual systems and displays to commercial, government and military organizations. The company provides training for pilots, technicians and other aviation professionals from 167 countries.
The Visual Software Engineer Intern will perform meaningful work alongside other talented professionals. This paid internship is a 10-week program (June 1 - August 4, 2027), 40 hours per week.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Understand the overall concept of the company including brand, customer, product goals
- Rotate through divisions of responsibility and provide ideas to grow and improve the business
- Accept designated business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project
- Engage with customers or clients and provide service
- Provide suggestions to management for improving customer service and internal processes
- Learn and become proficient on internal software systems
Minimum Education:
- Must be enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program, working towards Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Minimum Experience:
- Fundamental knowledge of computer programs, techniques, and concepts
May require access to export-controlled technology (ITAR/EAR). May require U.S. Government security clearance.
